ShowerGlyde Swivel Seat Mechanism

Thanks to the ShowerGlyde including the swivel seat and arm rest, shower time for my husband is so LESS stressful. It works with ease and efficiency getting him in and out the shower safely without worries of falling. I highly recommend this product if you are needing help keeping your loved one safe during showers.

Couldn’t be happier

The swivel seat came after I ordered the slide chair. I was told it was an easy fix. It wasn’t because the 4 Screws that I had to remove were originally installed with lock tight. I had a very hard time getting them out. Finally I heated the screws and that loosened them. I never received the side flip up handles. Not sure if they will install easily either. I did contact your tech service. They were no help just said I would have to send my seat back then wait for you to do the install and return. Well fortunately with the help of you tube I removed the screws. As for the unit I am pleased.

This was a great new addition to the unit. Installation was a bit difficult, removing the screws from the seat was harder than it should have been. we ended up stripping two screws and having to drill them out to remove the old seat mount. No instructions provided for the switch out. The outside edge of the swivel plate is quite sharp and I have caught my finger on it while using the swivel and washing a few times. Aside from that, the unit works as described and is a welcome new function, which makes transferring and moving much easier than before.
