The SB2T for Bathtub or Shower
The SB2T is made for bathtubs but also can used in a shower environment. The SB2T has the tilt mechanism which allows the care-giver to tilt the user back, making it easier to clear the legs over a tub. The SB2T also has a headrest making the user very comfortable when titled back. (The SB2 does not have that feature making it the main difference between the SB2T vs SB2.) SB2T alleviates multiple transfers and heavy lifting. The SB2T is composed of three sections: rolling base (shower chair), bridge, and tub base. The rolling base can double as a bedside commode. It also rolls around the house with care-giver assistance, allowing users easy transfer. Once in the bathroom, the SB2T can roll over most toilets to be used as an over-toilet commode. When toileting is complete, the rolling base and shower base are connected using the bridge, allowing the chair to slide in a tilted position with legs raised and ready to move over the tub. The 30-degree infinite tilt can also be used for pressure relief, increased comfort, and easy-reach bathing. This feature is unique to SB2T and to the marketplace, and it cannot be found on any other shower transfer system. Once over the tub/shower, the rolling base and bridge can be disconnected allowing the care-giver to get closer.
The SB1 Transfer System for Showers
The SB1 is made for showers that have a barrier/curb. You can now have a barrier-free shower in minutes. This chair is made to fit small showers. The chair measures only 22.5 inches wide. The swivel shower base makes it easy to turn the user to face the shower head. This chair allows the user to enjoy showering again without the high cost, delay, and stress of a full bathroom remodel. This care-giver assisted chair has a rolling base, making it easy to roll a person around the house and into the shower with the smooth transfer system. The bridge can be detached and moved out of the way once the user is in the shower, making it easy for the care-giver to assist the user.
The SB2 for Bathtub or Shower
The SB2 is similar to the SB2T but does not have the tilting function or headrest, But it still can transform your existing bathtub or curbed shower into an accessible, barrier-free shower in minutes. It will roll around the house with assistance and will roll over most toilets.
