Not all bathroom layouts are the same. That's why we designed three models which would fit 90% of all bathrooms. If there are no obstructions near the tub consider SG1. If you have a toilet near the tub, consider model SG2 as it can slide over the toilet. If there is a vanity or limited space, consider SG3, which has a small footprint and is able to swivel. This is a game changer for us in caring for my mom
It’s a sturdy, smooth-functioning, gliding shower chair. I looked at many designs, and read many reviews of other chairs. This one was a little more expensive, but I felt we needed the sturdier design for my mother‘s weight. It was the perfect purchase for our needs. It was a little too long to fit in the space between the bathtub and the vanity, so we just cut about 4 inches off of the end of the gliding rails And it works perfectly. A couple of screws were missing, but we called the company, they have excellent customer service and we had the screws in a couple of days. Very happy with this purchase!
Swivel control unreachable when it's between the user's legs.
Seat not particularly comfortable, even with the horseshoe-shaped pad. Without the pad, the seat is slippery.
It does appear to be fairly sturdy.
