ShowerGlyde Model SG2 is a sliding transfer bench designed to fit in an environment with a toilet adjacent to the tub. Similar to SG1, SG2 slides effortlessly over the tub and locks in two points; on the inside and outside of the tub. A longer set of rails accommodates the use of the commode over the abutting toilet. SG2 can be assembled as a left or right-hand unit. One grab bar installed at the wall-side of the rails is included for support in sliding. SG2 is height adjustable allowing clearance of up to a 19.5” tub. Optional extension legs are available for taller tub lips (up to 25”). SG2 also comes standard with a seatbelt and a seat with three options; an open commode seat for over-toilet use, a reducer ring, and a solid seat insert.

This was a good amount more than the other chairs we tried, but well worth it.
Brother stroke victim confined to wheelchair. Use of only 1 arm. Has chronic UTI. This product allows him to take showers. Before only had sponge baths. This item fits in shower, can adjust height as he is 6’2. Occupational & physical therapist were impressed with this shower chair! It swivels, has safety belt & is easy to move around. I’m so happy with this!!!
We ordered the ShowerGlyde 2 for my elderly mother to insure her safety while bathing. Israel Gamburd was so helpful in guiding us to the correct product for our sunken shower that would serve this purpose. We did not have to alter the structure of the bathroom to achieve this goal. He answered our calls personally and even FaceTimed with us to insure the bench would work in the space. Mom loved how beautiful the chair looked, as well as how easily it functioned. Israel’s compassion and professionalism truly affects the quality of his client’s lives. It certainly has significantly improved our mother’s life. We will let others know what a wonderful company this is and the many quality products that are available to help individuals regain some independence in their own home.
