Enjoy Accessible Accommodations at the Abilities Expo with ShowerGlyde

Traveling with a disability can be challenging, especially when hotels lack proper accommodations. Many facilities fall short in providing essential equipment, particularly for bathing, making it difficult for guests with disabilities to enjoy a comfortable stay.  At the recent Abilities Expo, we met Bob Vogel, a T10 paraplegic, who shared his struggles with inadequate hotel bathing equipment. Despite efforts, the hotel couldn’t meet his needs, leaving him feeling unsafe.  Bob's experience is common among travelers with disabilities. Even when reserving accessible rooms, features like roll-in showers are often lacking.  

SolutionBased is Helping

To address these challenges, SolutionBased will offer ShowerGlyde units on a first-come, first-served basis for use during your stay at the Abilities Expo in Chicago as part of a pilot program with Abilities Expo.

The Fine Print

We are offering a limited number of units and encourage you to reserve one in advance. Units will be delivered to your room by one of our team members starting on Thursday, June 20th, and collected by June 23rd.
