The replacement of the Strut Cable and Tilt Handle was shipped (& received) very quickly. The installation went very smooth, without difficulty. The original Strut Cable and Tilt Handle may have been about 17 years old, and they lived a good life (original SB2T part). The original Tilt Handle failed probably because the original Strut Cable had too much friction built up over the years. We have been very happy with the SB2T chair. Over the years it has been very beneficial transporting our son with Muscular Dystrophy. Thank you so much. The SB2T is a great design.
Just as I ordered. Well made OEM replacement parts.
I have had to change this cable more than once due to it breaking from rust. This is not designed to protect the cable very well and it is very difficult to put on.
They are fine but not made to last…I am going on my 3rd one in a year and a half and they are quit spendy. Ya kinda got us by the horns on that one!

My dad recently lost his leg and has struggled to use the bathroom on his own and clean himself up. With this chair he is able to safely go to the bathroom and can then transfer to the shower and clean him self up a true life saver for for someone trying to regain there independence it’s the simple things you take for granted

We have a tiny bathroom. Husband is disabled with dementia. Even with many handholds, was fearful of stepping into the shower, the 3" rise caused him to get disoriented and dizzy. So, I saw this solution for a tiny bathroom!!! Husband took to it like a duck to water.
I ordered this chair for my dad who has fallen recently. Received it quickly and am happy it is such a solid product. Noticed an issue with one of the wheels called and the issue was taken care of with no hassel and quicker than I thought possible.
My wife and I purchased the Shower Buddy Chair back in February 2023 for my brother-in-law to be used in his assisted living facility. His Care-Takers love using this chair because it's easy for them to care for my brother-in-law. It glides, maneuvers and pivots with ease.
