This cushion is somewhat softer than the standard cushion, but not enough. I expected more comfort. Remember that most people who use this product are elderly, paras or quadriplegics. This area is the first to get a pressure sore and therefore the area that needs the most protection. I wanted a cushion someone could sit on comfortably for a long shower, but this wasn't soft enough. Looks like we'll have to buy the roho.
