Designed as caregiver-assisted units, Showerbuddy systems function like a wheelchair, allowing easy bedside access, rolling over the toilet, and sliding seamlessly into the tub or shower—all with a single transfer.
Bridging the Gap: Rifton Wave and Showerbuddy Compatibility
We’ve listened to user feedback and recognized the need for a solution that bridges the gap between pediatric and adult bathing systems. Our new hardware kit enables you to convert your existing Rifton Wave and integrate it with the Showerbuddy SB2T, SB1, or SB3T systems. This compatibility brings several advantages:
The Showerbuddy bathing system is designed to grow with the child. The Rifton Wave is ideal for smaller children, but as the child grows, the Showerbuddy system adapts without the need to purchase an entirely new bathing system. The Showerbuddy transfer system can accommodate the Rifton Wave, and as the child outgrows it, you can upgrade to the P1 (Petite Converter Kit), which offers a 12-inch width between arms with multiple depth adjustments. Once the child outgrows the P1, you can upgrade to the P2, which features a 16-inch width between arms and adjustable depth. After the child outgrows the P2 you will have all the necessary hardware to go into a standard 18 inch wide chair without the need of buying any additional hardware.
With the Showerbuddy transfer system, you won’t need to buy a new chair every few years, making it a long-term, adaptable solution for users of all ages.
