Game changer. Mom has a shower with a four inch ledge she can no longer safely navigate. Nine months of sponge baths, and then I found the ShowerGlyde transfer bench. I bought the arm rests, a longer rail, and the cushioned seat as well.
We installed it this morning. Hopefully she will have a shower tomorrow morning. Her aides had never heard of this product, and are excited to let everyone know. So if you get a bunch of orders from Juno Beach FL, I would appreciate a commission on sales.
Assembly was fiddly with that hex key, but easy and clear instructions.
I took a test ride, and it was smooth. Mom did the same and her aide remarked on how smoothly the seat moved along the rail.
I have great hopes. Thank you. For anyone who can no longer safely step over a ledge into their shower, this is a good solution.
